Hi! My name is Elizabeth Weglein and I am an ink illustrator and surface designer based in Philadelphia. I specialize in detailed ink illustrations and patterns, often depicting marine life and mermaids.

I’ve enjoyed drawing and painting my entire life, usually finding inspiration from the natural world. From watching Animal Planet as a kid, to consuming every nature documentary narrated by David Attenborough (and many others), I know there are always incredible places to explore and fascinating animals to learn about. I absolutely love to be outside as much as possible, especially in the ocean.

A lot of my work is also inspired by my travels. I love to explore new places to take in landscapes, architecture, culture, and, of course, food!!
